This class will give students a working knowledge of creating websites using Microsoft FrontPage. Students will learn to create web pages that contain text, graphics, tables and lists. Students will learn to layout pages with frames and tables. Students will learn to format their sites using styles and templates. Students will learn to create forms and collect form data. Students will need a basic understanding of Windows to complete this class. Students will need a copy of FrontPage. A 30-day trial version is available.
Objectives
Students will use FrontPage to view a web site and a web page.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to add text, hyperlinks, formatting, lists and tables to a web page.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to add graphics to a web page.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to layout a web page using banners, shared borders and tables.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to organize web site files, link files, and add dynamic components to a web page.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to automatically update information on a web page and to design a form.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to build web sites with a team.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to collect information to a database and display the data on a web page.
Students will use Microsoft FrontPage to publish their site to a web server and to manage their web site.
Students will create a final project that uses what they have learned in this class.
