Adobe GoLive

Description

Students will learn the basics of web design using Adobe GoLive. Students will add text and graphics to their web pages and create page layouts using tables and frames. Students will add interactivity using links, smart objects, and actions. Students will add formatting using cascading style sheets. Students will design forms and manage their websites using GoLive. A copy of GoLive is required. A free 30-day trial is available.

Objectives

• Students will get acquainted with the Adobe GoLive Development environment.
• Students will define a website and create web pages with text graphics.
• Students will design page layouts using the layout grid and tables.
• Students will add hyperlinks to their webpages and format text.
• Students will add color and graphics to their web pages.
• Students will use Actions and JavaScript to add animation and interactivity to their web pages.
• Students will design forms using GoLive.
• Students will create templates for the pages in their site and design a site using site diagrams.
• Students will use GoLive to design and manage their websites.
• Students will use what they have learned in this course to create a website.
