This class will give students an introduction an overview to creating XML documents. Students will be able to create well-formed and valid XML documents. Students will be able to create Document Type Definitions (DTD) and Schemas for validating their XML documents. Students will be able to create style sheets using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and the Extensible Style sheet Language with Transforms (XLST). This class does not require a background in programming or web design, but both would be helpful.
