Microsoft PowerPoint

Description

This class will give students a working knowledge of creating presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint. Students will learn to work with the various PowerPoint views to create and view their presentations. Students will learn to give slideshows using PowerPoint and use PowerPoint to create web-based presentations. Students will learn to incorporate Excel data, charts and animations into their presentations. Students will need a basic understanding of Windows to complete this class. Students will need a copy of Office. A 30-day trial version is available.

Objectives

• Students will identify ways PowerPoint can enhance a presentation.
• Students will explore the PowerPoint views, and create a new presentation.
• Students will use Microsoft PowerPoint to create a slide show, add clip art, and animate their presentation.
• Students will use Microsoft PowerPoint to review a presentation and to create links to web-based resources.
• Students will use PowerPoint to create master slides for formatting their presentation.
• Students will Microsoft PowerPoint to create a presentation demonstrating what they have learned in the course.
