Windows Vista Upgrade

Description

Whether you are new to Windows or upgrading from an earlier release of Windows, the course will get you up and going with the basics and give you a chance to get comfortable with the more advanced features of Windows Vista. You will explore the new Vista interface and learn to use the redesigned Explorer. You will learn about the updated Entertainment and Media features as well as some new and many improved Accessories. You will explore the internet using the enhanced internet features and keep up with correspondence using the redesigned windows mail feature.

Objectives

• Students will navigate the windows environment, launch applications and manage files and folders.
• Students will configure Windows Vista to work with their printer, scanner, digital camera and CD drive.
• Students will manage mail with Windows Mail and explore the Internet with Explorer 7.
• Students will customize security, peformance, networking and personal features of Windows Vista.
